Artist information

Molly has led a full and varied life. She is a widow and has two daughters and five granddaughters.

After running her own successful Real Estate Agency for 10 years, she specialized in the marketing of retirement villages for senior citizens. During this time, she served on the local Town Council for 14 years and became the first Lady Mayor of the town, a position she held for three years.

Molly was a founder member of the First International Toastmistresses in Johannesburg, serving one year as President.    She also served on numerous other committees - Secretary of Chamber of Commerce, local Licensing Board, PRO for Lady Lions to name a few. She was also a part-time journalist for the local newspaper and gave time for higher education courses.

Molly's first contact with artists was via Marge Bowen, the founder of Water Colour Society of South Africa. Then on to Richard Rennie who gave her all she was looking for in painting.

At present she is a member of several Art Groups, devotes most of her time to painting and gardening and works as a volunteer at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, in the Herbavarium. Her work is in private homes in Holland, Switzerland and mostly in the United Kingdom.

She sells her paintings at Kirstenbosch, and galleries at Noordhoek, Simonstown, Kalk Bay and Greyton.
